What Our Pest Control Visits Cover
Last updated: October 2026
Michigan Pest Pros provides pest inspections and the pest control work described in your estimate, service order, or other written agreement. The agreed work may include identifying pest activity, applying control measures, and providing instructions for preparing the property or reducing conditions that attract pests.
We perform pesticide applications in accordance with applicable product labeling, including directions required by the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Services are subject to Michigan’s Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, Part 83, applicable pesticide business licensing requirements, and the qualifications required for commercial applicators, including categories 7A and 7B when relevant.
Work not listed in the written agreement is outside the agreed scope and requires separate approval. This may include repairs, cleanup, wildlife removal, structural changes, or treatment of additional areas or pests. We follow applicable hazardous-waste disposal rules, including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, when relevant to our work.
Booking, Rescheduling, and Changes to a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method offered by Michigan Pest Pros. We confirm the planned service, visit window, and any preparation steps when scheduling.
Please provide safe access to the agreed treatment areas and tell us about relevant site conditions before the appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as possible and before the scheduled visit.
Any cancellation charge or other consequence applies only if it was disclosed and agreed to when booking or in a written service agreement.
If no one can provide access, or conditions prevent safe or effective work, we may need to postpone the visit and arrange a new time. We will explain the issue and any applicable rescheduling terms.
A request to treat additional areas, address a different pest, or perform other work changes the agreed scope. We will explain any price or timing change and obtain your approval before proceeding with that additional work.
Estimates, Charges, and Payment Approval
We provide an estimate or other written price information based on the pest issue, property details, and work discussed. An estimate describes the proposed scope and is not a final invoice unless identified as a fixed price in writing.
If inspection reveals conditions that could change the work or cost, we will explain the difference and seek your approval before performing work outside the agreed scope. You may decline the added work; the original service may still be completed if it remains safe and practical.
Payment is due as stated in the estimate, invoice, or service agreement. Please review those terms before approving service, and contact us promptly if you believe an invoice is incorrect.
Any applicable taxes or disclosed fees will be shown in the price information. Michigan Pest Pros does not promise financing or a particular outcome unless those terms are expressly stated in a separate written agreement. Your approval may be recorded in writing or through another agreed booking method.
Written Coverage for Completed Work
Michigan Pest Pros will perform the services described in your approved agreement with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable pesticide label directions. Any warranty, retreatment commitment, or other coverage applies only when its terms are provided in writing.
The written terms control the covered service, duration, conditions, and steps for requesting help; coverage may differ by service and is not automatic for every visit. We do not promise that pests will never return or that treatment will address activity outside the agreed scope.
Coverage may not apply where the written terms exclude a condition, or where access is denied, required preparation is not completed, or new activity results from conditions outside our control. Do not alter or disturb treated areas contrary to technician instructions or product labeling.
If you notice continued activity, contact us using the details below and describe the service and issue. We will review the written agreement and explain any available next steps. Nothing in this section removes rights that cannot legally be waived.
Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
To the extent allowed by law, Michigan Pest Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it, including liability that cannot legally be limited.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed conditions, pest activity outside the agreed treatment area, or losses caused by a customer’s failure to follow written preparation or safety instructions, where the law permits those limits. Please report concerns promptly so we can review the service records and the circumstances.
We apply pesticides only as permitted by their labeling and applicable law, including FIFRA and Michigan’s Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, Part 83. Our work is subject to applicable Michigan licensing and commercial applicator requirements.
These terms do not authorize any application inconsistent with product directions or applicable requirements. Nothing here limits a customer’s legal rights or creates an exclusion that is not permitted under Michigan or federal law.
Questions About These Service Terms
For questions about these terms or a scheduled service, contact Michigan Pest Pros at (855) 681-0299 or [email protected]. You may also write to 2000 Town Center, Suite 1900, Southfield, MI, US. Please include your name, service address, and relevant appointment or invoice details so we can direct your question. Do not email sensitive financial information.
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date or other notice of revision when available.
For a change that materially affects an existing service agreement, we will provide notice or seek approval as required by that agreement and applicable law. Unless stated otherwise, a revision applies to services booked after it is posted, not retroactively to completed work.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These terms do not replace any service-specific written agreement you approve.
Daniel Foster
Service Expert at Michigan Pest Pros
I started in pest control in the Southfield area, learning to inspect homes, identify pest activity, and choose treatments suited to the problem. Michigan’s freeze-thaw seasons and mix of older homes and newer construction taught me to look for entry points as well as active infestations. I built the company to give Michigan homeowners practical explanations and a clear plan.
